1. Artistic Style
By booking The Happy Face Ltd, you acknowledge that all photographs and videos will be captured and edited in our distinctive artistic style. Editing decisions, including colour grading, cropping, composition, and final image selection, remain at our creative discretion.
2. Booking & Payment
A booking is confirmed only after receipt of the agreed booking fee and confirmation from The Happy Face Ltd.
The remaining balance must be paid before the event date unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Travel, parking, accommodation, and any additional expenses (where applicable) will be quoted separately.
3. Coverage & Timings
Clients are responsible for ensuring that the agreed schedule is followed on the event day.
If the client or guests cause delays, we will make every reasonable effort to capture all requested photographs; however, certain moments, including formal family portraits, cannot be guaranteed if sufficient time is unavailable.
Where a family portrait session has been allocated, delays may reduce or prevent this portion of the coverage.
4. Image & Video Delivery
Professionally edited photographs will be delivered in high-resolution JPEG format only.
RAW image files and unedited video footage remain the property of The Happy Face Ltd and will not be supplied.
Standard photo delivery is approximately 2–4 weeks after the event.
Highlight films are typically delivered within 4–5 weeks.
Delivery times may vary during peak wedding seasons or unforeseen circumstances.
5. Video Deliverables
Unless otherwise agreed in writing:
Highlight films are delivered in 4K resolution.
The standard highlight film duration is approximately 3 minutes.
Longer edits or additional films are available at an additional cost.
Clients may request up to two rounds of reasonable revisions to the highlight film. Any further revisions will incur additional charges.
6. Drone Photography & Videography
Drone coverage is subject to:
Weather conditions
Venue permissions
Local aviation regulations
Safe flying conditions
Drone footage cannot be guaranteed under all circumstances.
Clients should provide venue details as early as possible so that any lighting, access restrictions, or drone regulations can be assessed before the event.
7. Copyright & Personal Use
All photographs and videos remain the copyright of The Happy Face Ltd.
Clients receive a personal licence to download, print, and share their photographs for personal use.
Images and videos may not be edited, altered, sold, or used for commercial purposes without prior written permission.
8. Social Media
Clients are welcome to share their photographs and videos on social media.
When possible, we kindly request that The Happy Face Ltd is credited.
Images and videos must not be altered through filters, colour changes, excessive cropping, AI editing, or any other modifications that change the original artistic presentation.
The client accepts responsibility for ensuring that family members or friends also respect these conditions when sharing the photographs.
9. Client Cooperation
The client agrees to provide accurate information regarding:
Event timings
Venue details
Required permissions
Special requests
The Happy Face Ltd cannot be held responsible for missed photographs caused by incorrect schedules, venue restrictions, guest interference, or circumstances beyond our control.
10. Rescheduling & Cancellation
Should the client need to reschedule, every reasonable effort will be made to accommodate the new date, subject to availability.
Rescheduled bookings may be subject to current pricing.
Booking fees are non-refundable unless otherwise agreed in writing.
11. COVID & Illness
If the client, or anyone in their household, is experiencing symptoms of any contagious illness or has been advised to isolate, they must inform us as soon as possible so alternative arrangements can be discussed.
12. Photographer Availability
In the unlikely event that illness, injury, accident, or circumstances beyond our control prevent us from attending your booking, every reasonable effort will be made to arrange a suitable replacement photographer or videographer.
If this is not possible, liability will be limited to a full refund of any payments made.
13. Force Majeure
The Happy Face Ltd shall not be liable for failure to perform its obligations where such failure results from circumstances beyond reasonable control, including but not limited to severe weather, natural disasters, government restrictions, venue closures, transportation disruption, pandemics, or other unforeseen events.
14. Data Protection
The Happy Face Ltd respects your privacy.
Client names, contact details, and booking information will be stored securely and used solely for the purpose of providing our services.
Personal information will never be sold or shared with third parties except where required by law or necessary to fulfil the booking.
A separate Privacy Policy is available on request.
15. Portfolio & Marketing
Unless otherwise requested in writing before the event, The Happy Face Ltd reserves the right to use selected photographs and videos for portfolio purposes, website galleries, social media, competitions, exhibitions, and promotional material.
If you require complete privacy, please let us know before your event.
16. Acceptance
Payment of the booking fee confirms that the client has read, understood, and accepted these Terms & Conditions.
